January in the Nursery We are back and settled in after a wonderful Christmas season. We will spend the next few weeks talking about the conclusion on of the Christmas story - the visit of the three kings. Look out for this family fun in January January 9th Annual Yule Log Hunt! 3-6 pm - Join us for family fun at Ash Lawn! Hunting for the Yule log, singing carols, having cake, and of course creating a huge bonfire with your Christmas trees! My son Quinten has been going since he was a baby and we are looking forward to him being able to run around this year! Community night starts up again on the 6th. Come to the chapel at 5:30 for a short prayer service. Join everyone for dinner in the parrish hall at 6, classes to follow. December in the Nursery This December we will be learning about the Christmas story and the meaning of the many symbols we see around us like stars and angels. There are also many other opportunities to celebrate the season with St Paul's Dec 6 is an advent in gathering offering of toys - bring to the nursery Dec. 9 is a special community night celebrating St. Nicholas! starting at 6 Dec 13th advent ingathering of blankets, socks and hats - place them at the holy table before the service Dec 13th is the Children's pagent during the 10 o'clock service Dec 20th is an advent ingathering of non perishable food - place offerins at the holy table before the service Dec 24th Christmas eve service at 5:00 is a children's service and there also will be nursery care provided Merry Christmas!!!!! The Nursery is back down stairs in its usual spot after getting much needed new tile floors in over the summer. Now we are ready to get back to our usual schedule. Starting next Sunday, the 20th, we will start our 2-3 year old class back in the Clown room - the one with the blue door. There are only two Sundays left in September so we will spend most of this time focusing on the wonderful things God has created for us in this world and on getting used to the class routine after a long fun summer!
