2009 will be an exciting time for St. Paul's Junior Choir. We hope to start with plenty of familiar faces as well as many new singers! We are welcoming new boys and girls into the choir all time. Generally, children who are able to read printed text are also ready to read some music notation and are welcomed to come sing with the choir.

Children Choir rehearsals are held on Sundays after the 10 o' clock service from 11.15 am - noon in the church school wing and on Sundays that the choir sings at 9:25 a.m. in the chancel. The Youth Choir (age 12-16) rehearses on Sundays from noon to 12.45 pm in the same location. This year, the Junior Choir will sing during the 10 a.m. service on the second and fourth Sundays of every month as well as provide additional music for the St. Nicholas Celebration, St. Francis Day, Christmas Pageant Sunday, the 5:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Service, Epiphany, Easter, and Church School Festival Sunday. The choir’s repertoire includes unison as well as two and three part treble arrangements.Thank you for sharing your talented children and we look forward to this  wonderful opportunity to make music together.

Please note: We are also searching for parent volunteers to assist with the Junior Choir. These volunteers would be asked to provide a small snack for the children prior to Sunday rehearsals as well as to remain in the choir room for the duration of the rehearsal.
