A native of both Charlottesville and St. Paul’s, Daniel graduated from Westminster Choir College with degrees in Music Education, Piano, and Voice. For three years, he was a leader in the internationally renowned Westminster Concert Bell Choir, and for two years served as both the Sacristan and a Cabinet member of the Episcopal Church at Princeton.
Locally, Daniel serves as the accompanist for the Oratorio Society of Charlottesville-Albemarle and the Virginia Glee Club, and has recently collaborated with the University Singers, the Wellesley College Choir, OperaViva, Ash Lawn Opera Theatre, and Operafestival di Roma. He is active in both the Senior Choir and the Gay-Straight Concerns Group at St. Paul’s.
Formerly a high school choir and orchestra director, Daniel can now be found most weekdays at the next-door Starbucks, where he serves the best Caramel Macchiatos in Charlottesville!
