GSCG

The mission of St. Paul's Memorial Integrity / Charlottesville Group is to foster, encourage, and support the acceptance of all persons as full members of the Episcopal Church, the wider community of Christians, and the society at large; and as an affiliate congregational circle of Integrity, to support their ministries of education, advocacy, and community. Integrity is a national advocacy organization for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight Episcopalians seeking full inclusion, without regard to sexual orientation, of all people in the full life of the church.

Dyana Mason talk on Marriage Amendment

Our group was founded in September of 2000 out of a sense of need for a visible gay friendly presence at St. Paul's, and a need for an ongoing educational program to reduce prejudice in ourselves, our church, and our society. To this end we have sponsored lectures and discussions to help move us toward accomplishing our mission.

Our group meets the first Sunday of the month during the academic year. Members of the congregation are always welcome to join us.
